Quinnipiac Poll-Rick Scott lowest approval rating

Frequently cited by journalists, public officials and researchers, the independent Quinnipiac University Poll regularly surveys residents in Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and nationwide about political races, state and national elections, and issues of public concern, such as schools, taxes, transportation, municipal services and the environment.

Following is the results of two polls from 1/12/12 and 1/25/12.  We're also including a link if you would like to check out future polling results.

I'm Grateful

 The viral email, I'm Grateful, lists President Obama's accomplishments and is especially noteworthy because of the wonderful pictures of the President. President Obama will deliver his State of the Union address at 9:00 p.m. ET. During that speech, he’ll lay out his vision for an America where hard work and responsibility are rewarded, where everyone does their fair share, and where everyone is held accountable for what they do.

There is a range of ways to get involved with this year’s State of the Union address.  Immediately following the President’s speech on Tuesday, be sure to stay tuned to WhiteHouse.gov/SOTU for a live panel featuring senior White House advisors answering your questions about the speech. Then, on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, a group of policy experts and advisors to the President will sit down for Office Hours on Twitter -- discussing the issues that matter to you and your community.

After taking office, President Obama signed the Recovery Act to help get our economy back on track. As a result:
  • The U.S. has seen 22 consecutive months of private-sector job growth.
  • The private sector added more than 3.1 million jobs over those 22 months.
  • Manufacturing added 334,000 jobs in the last two years, the first time since 1997 that manufacturing employment rose.

Flagler County mentioned on Hardball with Chris Matthews

Flagler County was mentioned tonight on Hardball with Chris Matthews. Yes he was talking about the upcoming Republican debates but some of his points apply to Democrats too. 
We need to not only reelect President Obama but also elect a strong, supporting congress.  A congress that does not put political gains and corporations above the needs of the people of this country!
